DO YOU CAVE INTO THE CROWD ?
Posted under: Pilate the evil politician gave the final word for the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.
He stated ” I have found no fault in Him ” – repeatedly he tried to push the decision to others. He sent Jesus to Herod – then back again to the Priests – then he brought up Barabbas trying to satisfy the blood thirsty mob – then he washed his hands in a basin.
What was he trying to do ?
He was trying to avoid making a decision about Jesus – he was trying to be politically correct with the mob – he was trying to save his career – but he finally caved in !
He said ” I find no basis for a charge against this man – but with loud shouts they insistently demanded that he be crucified – and their shouts prevailed ” / Luke 23:4-23
How about you ? Are you trying to dance between Jesus and the crowd?
